Introducing technology to people’s daily life is part of my life mission. Managing Asset Conditions provides me thatopportunity. It is quite an accomplishment when we see applied technology bringing so important results to our customers, making their lives easier and more relaxing, providing them with more time so that they can dedicate themselves to the competitiveness of their businesses. Leading nearly three hundred collaborators and monthly monitoring more than two hundred and fifty plants in such an atmosphere, in different languages and with different cultures, is something that makes me very enthusiastic to get out of bed every morning and go to Semeq with lots of satisfaction.
I love to see how amazing it is to people when we explain what our job is and how we do it, as well as how far they can go with us. The recognition of our work by our customers as something essential to their maintenance team is fascinating to me. I feel that I am valued at Semeq, as here we can create, without forgetting the responsibility, working with freedom, always putting truth and transparence into our actions.
Asset Condition Management is dynamics and gives me the opportunity to learn new things every day; It also provides me with the possibility of directly participating in the results of our customers. I feel like I’m a doctor saving and expanding machinery lives. Doing this at Semeq is easier because I count on the support of knowledge provided by our R & D team, for they master technology, and also on the support of Semeq’s Core Values, which matches my own personal values.
Working with Asset Condition Management enchants me because this is an “investigative” Science, in which instruments and technology are an extension of my senses. I started my career at Semeq in 1999. Working with predictive maintenance was fascinating from the beginning as it gave me the opportunity to learn about different production processes used at companies around the world. Semeq has directly played a role in my family as an agent of transformation, and, today, as I work in the commercial area, I have the mission of giving that same opportunity to new collaborators and their families.
